Lemon is full of nutrients - it contains bioflavonoids, pectin, folic acid, vitamins C, A, B1, B6, potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese. It has a beneficial effect on the liver, intestines, stomach, immune, nervous and cardiovascular systems.
The color of a ripe lemon is light yellow, and the fruit is oval in shape. Lemon peel should be yellow, but sometimes greenish-yellow in color and should be undamaged, and possible scars that occur during growth will often be sandy in color and they do not impair the quality of the lemon. Lemon peel has an almost humpback texture, and the more mature it is, the smoother the peel.
